I never posted the images and artwork from The Bové Sisters on Holiday art show we had at Pop Secret Gallery. An artshow with my sister inspired by one of our favorite things, traveling; places we've been to before or places we'd like to visit in the future, take a look :)
Hello all! Update with an artshow I participated in the Center Stage Gallery called "Curiouser & Curiouser," In celebration of the 150th anniversary of Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Here's the link to the gallery website- Center Stage Gallery Here are my alice pieces I made, all gouache and ink on artboard.
Here's a 6 piece digital animal series I designed. Had to design my favorite animal the fox of course! And wanted to add some other fun ones :) My favorite one ended up being the llama, because she's girly and loves to dress up like me! :)
Here's a nice little update with my mini painting series I did, they're all gouache. They're 3X5" pretty teeny tiny, but very fun to paint! I included so far a fashion hipster, a fashionista, and a very "bougie" gal.
They're all about different fashion styles, with their corresponding fashionable accessories, every girl has a favorite bag, or favorite drink :) Enjoy!
I just did a piece for my friend's art show Victoria Ying, check her blog here and here
This piece is for the art gallery in Alahambra, CA "Nucleus." This show is about "curiosities" A brother and a sister explore an old family mansion and they're very surprised at the things and creatures they find inside this old mansion.
I was fortunate enough to be in the Ray guns and Robots art show in Seattle, Washington at the LTD. Art Gallery. Check their site here & here
Here's a gouache painting inspired by the 1956 movie "Forbidden Planet," a visually stimulating film with awesome sets, and quirky mid century modern interiors. I was inspired by the female character Altaira and how adorably fashionable she is, commanding her Robby the robot to create custom dresses.
Finally a new post! I've been working on this gouache painting for a few days for an art show I'm in this saturday! Very exciting, the show doesn't have a particular theme, so something sparked and I think I want to do a series of "fashion paintings" just like this one "The Fashion Hipster" about a hipster girl, and her key fashion items that are hot now!
